The Black Legacy Project is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich history and cultural contributions of the African-American community of Wayne County.

Wayne County Black community organizations have played a vital role in the fight for social justice, equality, and empowerment within Black communities. These organizations have been essential in addressing systemic issues like racial discrimination, economic inequality, education disparities, and civil rights violations.

Career as an author: My Mom Says I’m Beautiful; Glory Crown; Pretty Blessed.
Career: In addition to being an author, she is a business professional with over 20 years of experience working in Higher Education and Criminal Justice. She is also the Founder and Executive of SHEroes Inc. an Indiana-registered non-profit organization founded on principles surrounding compassion, commitment, and courage for young ladies.
