Brandon Pope is an award winning and Emmy nominated sports and political journalist, pod-caster, media critic, host, and columnist. He is the president of the Chicago chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists, an organization that promotes and funds the aspirations of young black future journalists, He is also  host of the podcast “On the Block: Powered by Black Block Chicago”, as well as being an adjunct professor at Columbia College Chicago.
