Death: Died in September 1972 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after an illness of three months.

Education: He graduated from Morton High School in 1939 and was a West Virginia State College graduate. He also took post-graduate work at Indiana University Extension.

Career as a Business Owner: He owned and operated a public accountant and tax consultant at 421 South Fifth Street.

Career as a Teacher: He taught night school accounting classes at Richmond High School for seven years.

Career as an Accountant: He was employed as an accountant at Philco–Ford in Connersville. He also served as the vice president of the Richmond Supply Co. firm. He was also a member of the National Accounting Association.

Military Service: He was a World War II veteran.

Community Engagement: He was a member of Bethel A.M.E Church. He was on the board of directors for the Boys’ Club, the Onyx Lodge, the American Legion, the Esquire Club, and the Alpha Psi Alpha Fraternity.
