James Thomas Ramey “Baby Huey”

James Thomas Ramey is the rock and soul singer we have come to know as Baby Huey. James He lived in Richmond until moving to Chicago at 19 years ola to pursue music. He was the frontman for the band Baby Huey & The Babysitters, whose album for Custom Records in 1971 was influential in the development of hip hop music. Baby Huey died in 1970 and was buried in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, now part of Earlham Cemetery.
