Business Owner

Education: She earned her bachelor’s degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She also completed the General Motors Dealer Management Development Program and graduated from the National Automobile Dealers Association Dealer Candidate Academy.

Career as a Business Owner: In 1997, after her father’s death, Jenell served as the vice president and principal dealer of Bob Ross Buick-GMC and Ross Motor Cars-Mercedes Benz. She became the president and CEO in 2010 after her mother’s death.

Community Involvement: Jenell is very involved in her community. She has served on many boards, including for the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance, for the Diversity Council for Centerville-Washington Township, and the Dayton Area Automobile Dealers Association. She is also a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, and of several organizations such as the NAACP and the Urban League.
