Career: In 1947, She opened and owned Speciality Record Shop from her sister’s 622 S. A Street home. In 1955, the company moved to an official building at 534 Main Street. Mary owned and operated the store with her husband, Henry Bass, her sister, Elizabeth Kelly, and her brother-in-law, Harold Kelly. She then served as the store’s treasury.
