Minority Women’s Network

The local chapter of the Minority Women’s Network was established in 1989. It promoted “economic self-sufficiency” through educational forums and support for minority participants. The slogan for this group was “Brains, Brawn, and Creativity” in supporting the goals of the Network. The chapter also raised money for scholarships for minority students.
