Sabrina Mayberry-Pennington

Sabrina Mayberry-Pennington was born in Tennessee, but grew up in Richmond. Her goal of attending college and being a positive role model to others in her community lead to an active and productive place in the community. She graduated from University of Indianapolis in Social Work and Human Resources, and from Ball State with a Masters in Adult Education. Her skills were utilized by working with youth at the Mary E. Hill Youth Home, in community outreach at Ivy Tech, as a counselor in the Student Services program at I.U. East, and then as Vice Chancellor of Student Enrollment and Success back at Ivy Tech- from which she retired. Her commitment to the community also included involvement with the YWCA, Discovery School, Girls, Inc., Wayne County Foundation, and the Wayne County Board of Health.
