Tim’s interest and talent in the construction field were recognized early on. He was ranked first in the “Vocation Building Trade Program’ at Richmond High School and later graduated with top marks and elected as ‘Senior of the Year’ in the Construction Technology Department at Purdue University. Tim and Pam Coffey started TEC Constructors and Engineers 1988 and The Crystal Dreams Foundation 2001.

The Crystal Dreams Foundation provides scholarship assistance to undergraduate, graduate and trade school students. Also, under the umbrella of Crystal Dreams, the S.T.E.P.U.P Program (Student Training Entrepreneur Program for Unlimited Potential) provides summer jobs and entrepreneur training for high school students.
