SG Sean D Terry, age 42, departed this life on July 5, 2021 at home in New Paris, OH. Sean graduated from Richmond High School in 1997 and enlisted in the US Army. He served two tours of duty overseas and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal (2), Army Achievement Medal (2), Army Good Conduct Medal (2), Army National Defense Service Medal, Army Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Iraq Campaign Medal, Army Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Army Combat Action Badge, Army Expert Infantryman Badge, Army Parachutist Badge, and Army Driver and Mechanic Badge. After serving in the military for 11 years he was honorably discharged and began studies at South Florida State College. Sean was a loving, dedicated son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be remembered most for his wonderful sense of humor that kept his friends and family on their toes. He is survived by his sisters, Yvette L. Hampton and Antoinette L. Hampton and his brothers, Cory Terry and Brian Terry as well as his niece and nephew and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Those wishing to honor his life can make a donation in his name to Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
